Islington Law Centre

Islington Law Centre

Grant: £15,000
April 12, 2017

The project seeks to address the acute shortage of good quality immigration lawyers who are able to work within low-income communities to:-

  • explain people’s legal rights to them in a clear and meaningful way, and help them to exercise those rights
  • assist community organisations to understand key legal issues and to maximise the impact of the help they provide to their beneficiaries
  • provide training and support to promote good practice.
