Guidance – Organisation Finance Documents

In support of a Grant Application or JFF Hosting Application, we ask that all applicants provide the following financial documents:

  1. either,
    • their latest Management Accounts or
    • draft Statutory Accounts for their last financial year end (including an Income & Expenditure Report and a Balance Sheet)
  2. their Budget for their current financial year (including an Income & Expenditure Report and a Balance Sheet)
  3. full set of their last signed Accounts (i.e. not the filleted or abbreviated accounts) [if they do not file accounts with the Charity Commission]

Example 1: A Charity with a 31st March year end, applying in September 2018

Would need to provide:

  1. either,
    • their latest Management Accounts or
    • draft Statutory Accounts for the year ended 31/3/18 (including an Income & Expenditure Report and a Balance Sheet)
  2. their Budget for the year ended 31/3/19 (including an Income & Expenditure Report and a Balance Sheet)

Example 2: A Company with a 31st March year end, applying in September 2018

Would need to provide:

  1. either,
    • their latest Management Accounts or
    • draft Statutory Accounts for the year ended 31/3/18 (including an Income & Expenditure Report and a Balance Sheet)
  2. their Budget for the year ended 31/3/19 (including an Income & Expenditure Report and a Balance Sheet)
  3. full set of signed Accounts (i.e. not the filleted or abbreviated accounts) for the year ended 31/3/17
