Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Why haven’t I received the next grant payment?

You will need to invoice us to receive payments, in line with the schedule in your Grant Agreement.

A payment may be held up if a report is overdue or there is a condition that the organisation needs to meet. Please check your Grant Agreement.

Once you have submitted an invoice, it usually takes us two to three weeks to arrange payment so please bear with us. If you have not been paid after three weeks, please email payments@thelef.org to follow-up.

We want to make changes to the work TLEF is funding?

We understand that not everything goes to plan and we also encourage grantees to learn from their work – so we are very happy to be flexible if you need to change your work. Please contact your Grants Manager to discuss. If you are not sure who your Grants Manager is, please email grants@thelef.org.

Our current funding is coming to an end. Can we apply for continuation funding?

Yes. If you would like to apply for continuation funding, please ask advice from your Grants Manager. Please note, the application process will usually be the same for continuation funding so it may take up to 5 months from deadline to decision.

Should we acknowledge (and how) your funding in our literature and online material?

Yes please, for work which we directly support. Details of how and when you may do so, including logos you may use can be found on our Logo and Communications page.

If you have any other queries that we haven’t addressed here, please do contact your Grants Manager. If you don’t know who that is, you can email grants@thelef.org.
