The Fylde Coast Advice and Legal Centre exists to provide social welfare and human rights law services for people who are on low incomes, disadvantaged, oppressed or marginalised groups.
Our primary catchment area is the Fylde Coast which covers the local authority areas of Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre.
We are an independent organisation operating in the community interest. The centre operates through a Management Committee which is representative of the community.
We are a registered Charitable Incorporated Organisation providing a core service of advice, casework and representation without charging you the client for those services. We also undertake social policy work which includes campaigning on issues that affect the community.
Our emphasis is on providing actual representation which very few local organisations provide.
